
Joel is a certified HACCP quality auditor, certified SQF consultant, certified quality technician and certified mechanical inspector through the American Society for Quality Control. He is a certified ANAB Lead Auditor (Q03567). In addition, he maintains a bachelor's degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
Prior to quality system consulting, his experience was in the small volume machining and metal fabrication and the food distribution industries. He has worked extensively in the automotive, food processing, distribution and medical industries. His responsibilities have ranged from quality director to vice president of operations.
Joel has been working as a quality consultant since 1995. He has performed training workshops for companies in the manufacturing, injection molding, truck assembly, computer graphics, computer software, machinery hauling, distribution, architectural products, steel processing, food processing and the aerospace industries. As a recognized leader in the field of productivity improvement, Joel has been asked to contribute articles and quotations in periodicals such as the American Banker, Produce Business, Sales and Marketing Management, Potentials Magazine, Manufacturer and Contractor Journal and is referenced in the Prentice Hall publication Selling Today, Manning/Reece
In addition to working as a quality consultant, he works as a subcontract auditor for several third party ANAB certified registrars including SAI Global, HSB, AmTec, NQA and TRA Certification. He has performed over one thousand third party ISO audits. He is also a training coordinator for both DePaul University; Chicago and Indiana/Purdue University; Indianapolis.
